OUIJA
How well do you know your friends?

We have now completed the first draft of our horror mystery film Ouija. This feature length film about a group of friends who go to a remote island in Scotland explores themes of fear, and humans versus nature and will be shot in the Highlands.

We are currently looking into funding and meeting with industry professionals to discuss the means and ways of achieving this project.

The Indestructible Man

The Indestructible Man will be shown at festivals later this year. Watch this space for details...

WHO CARES? All Our Futures?

It seems that the government are intent on trying to axe arts such as drama, music and dance from the schools curriculum. Last year they commissioned a report called All Our Futures to establish how much the arts are necessary for self-development in education. The Ken Robinson report then detailed over 60 reasons as to why drama was a vital part of education. In response to this on the government's education website, all of these recommendations were ignored.

To show how drama can hugely benefit young people New Strides have for the last year been working with a group of 15-19 year olds who have been through the care system. We have worked with them in a series of workshops and this will result in their own devised production and also involvement in the filming of it. We are confident that this will show that drama is an important tool for individuals and ultimately, society.
